Mediterranean countries have the lowest incidence of osteoporosis due to their alkaline diet rich in greens, olives, Vitamin D3, K2, silica, and magnesium. Avoidance of carbonated drinks is a must as they contain high levels of phosphates, reduction of alcohol and coffee, reduction of sea salt, and use of non diary milk.
